It’s Manchu Lakshmi’s turn to bash Men

While Bollywood is presently in the hangover of Deepika Padukone’s ‘My Choice’ video on women’s empowerment and even the industry people are taking sides speaking for and against the message in the video. Presently Lakshmi Manchu’s song which she has crooned for in ‘Dongata’ is also on lines with ‘My Choice’ video.

Lakshmi’s song is unique in it’s own way. First for the voice, a voice which gives the flavour of listening to a folk song with mass feel. Secondly, the message it gives in a teenmaar style on how the women are treated in society and the disparities in treating men and women differently in our society. The lyrics may seem controversial but definitely very meaningful and meant to set us thinking.

Even before the release of the other songs from the movie, Manchu Lakshmi’s team released this special song ‘Yendiro’ and soon going viral online.
