Jailer 2 OTT Release Date on Amazon Prime Leaked?

Jailer 2 OTT date remains unconfirmed...

Following the terrible failure of Coolie, Rajinikanth has made a comeback with his highly anticipated sequel Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, which was released in theatres today and is on a rampage at the box office.

Even though many critics claimed that only the first half of Jailer 2 was solid and the second half was weak with a routine commercial entertainer screenplay, the mass moments and Rajinikanth’s aura have worked well for general audiences. Consequently, Rajinikanth’s fans are celebrating Jailer 2 like a festival, and the film is all set to do wonders at the box office.

On one hand, while trade experts are severely thrashing the makers of Jailer 2 for not releasing the film in North Indian multiplexes due to choosing a four-week OTT window, on the other hand, many people have already started inquiring on social media on the first day itself about Jailer 2’s OTT release date and are eagerly awaiting its digital premiere.

In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that the streaming rights of Jailer 2 have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and that the film will most probably start streaming on the platform from November 12th.

However, in response to this, many trade experts are suggesting that in case Jailer 2 has a solid theatrical run for three weeks and posts terrific numbers at the box office, the digital release of the film may be postponed by at least two weeks.

They also suggest that Jailer 2 is a proper commercial entertainer meant to be celebrated in theatres and are urging people who are waiting to watch Jailer 2 on OTT to watch and celebrate the film in theatres instead.

Ultimately, there are still no official updates on Jailer 2’s OTT release date. It remains to be seen whether Jailer 2 will have its digital release with a four-week window as planned or will be postponed due to a blockbuster theatrical run in the following weeks.
