Hero Busy, Film Going Down The Drain?

Tamil Hero Vijay Thalapathy did a film called Jana Nayagan, which was supposed to release this Pongal festival season. The film, which was originally scheduled for release in January is no longer relevant as there’s no update on the release.

While there is no official update on the actual release of the film, there are new reports about the possible release in May.

But nevertheless, the film is finding itself in an extremely tricky situation. There is no discussion happening on it on social media and on top of that even Vijay is said to have moved on.

There were even that Vijay is already in damage control for this film as he promised the producer that he would work on another project as compensation.

With the hero occupied with his political commitments and unavailable for shootings and the rest of public discourse relying on political affairs in Tamil Nadu, there’s no vacuum for the film.

And to make matters worse, the film had been leaked on the Internet in bits and pieces. Not that this leak could generate much interest from the audience either but it’s detrimental anyway.

This is possibly one of the worst affected films from a superstar in recent times and we can only sympathise with the producers who spent hundreds of crores on its production.
