Two Options Left for Vijay’s Final Film: Withdraw or Fight?

There is still no clarity on the release of Jana Nayagan, the final film of Vijay. After nearly a month of legal proceedings, fans remain deeply disappointed with the continued delay.

Following detailed hearings, the final judgment of the Madras High Court did not go in favour of the Jana Nayagan team. Legal experts believe the makers are now left with only two possible paths.

According to these experts, the team can either appeal the High Court verdict in the Supreme Court and continue a prolonged legal battle. The second option is to withdraw the case against the CBFC and comply with the Revising Committee’s guidelines.

Some sources claim the makers have chosen the second option and are planning to withdraw the case against the CBFC. If this happens, clarity on the revised release date is expected within one or two weeks.

However, there has been no official confirmation so far. Meanwhile, the CBFC has filed a caveat in both the High Court and the Supreme Court to ensure no order is passed without hearing its side.

Amid this uncertainty, speculation on social media suggests that KVN Productions has asked overseas distributors to start allocating theatres. Reports hint at a possible release window between February 12 and February 26.

This move indicates confidence that the censorship certificate could be secured soon. Fans are hopeful that the legal hurdles will be cleared within the coming days.

As the legal battle continues, many fans feel Vijay’s final film is being delayed unfairly. Still, they believe that whenever Jana Nayagan releases, it will be celebrated like a festival. The coming days will be crucial in determining whether the film makes it to theatres during the speculated February 13 to February 26 period.
