Popular choreographer Jani Master is currently in jail due to the sexual assault allegations against him. While he is in custody, Jani Master’s wife Sumalatha brings a new twist to the case.
Sumalatha lodged a complaint with the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, alleging that the woman who accused Jani Master had actually trapped and harassed him under the name of love.
In her complaint, Sumalatha stated, “She has been torturing me for the last five years. I reached a point where I wanted to commit suicide. She used to pressure Jani Master in the name of love and forced him to marry her.”
“She wouldn’t allow my husband to come home and only let him stay for 2-3 hours. When I confronted her, she denied everything, calling him her brother and me her sister-in-law,” she further added.
Sumalatha went on to allege that the concerned woman had affairs with multiple men. “She traps wealthy men in the name of love and tortures them. I request the chamber to investigate the issue and bring justice to me and my children,” she stated.
Meanwhile, Jani Master’s four-day custody ends today. Even in police custody, Jani Master reportedly denied allegations and stated that the woman only harassed him. He will be in remand till October 3.
