Last week, it was announced that Prashanth Neel’s film with Jr NTR is set to commence the shoot soon and the film would be released in January 2026. This essentially means that Neel is occupied with NTR’s film and Salaar 2 is not happening now.
Though Salaar 2 might be getting postponed, this isn’t all that bad for Prabhas’s fans as it opens up a new horizon for them.
With Salaar 2 taking the back seat, what essentially happens is that Prabhas could instead push the film with Sandeep Vanga ahead. This could happen once Prabhas is done with Maruthi’s film which has been in the making for a while now.
If at all Prabhas takes this void left by Neel and slots in Vanga’s spirit, then this is going to be great news.
But for that to happen, Vanga must first be prepared with the pre production. Notably, he earlier claimed that the film would commence shooting this October.
Had Salaar 2 happened now, Spirit hitting the floors in October would have been impossible but that isn’t the case now. So, if Prabhas and Vanga take Spirit up next then this could mean big.
Vanga is one of the most exciting filmmakers in Indian cinema now and he is bound to create a box office monster with Spirit. So in a way, NTR has opened up a new horizon for Prabhas by taking Neel for his film. It is a blessing in disguise for Prabhas’s fans.
