Kaajal Vashisht says no to item songs

Actress Kaajal Vashisht is about to make her movie debut in southern film industry with the forthcoming film ‘Iddarammayilatho’. The actress has already made the firm decision of not doing any item numbers and maintaining her focus on performance-based roles. She believes that others may do what they want to but she would like to exploit her potential as a successful actor instead of trying out item songs.

‘Iddarammayilatho’ is a romantic-drama in directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie features Allu Arjun as the male lead along with other actresses Amala Paul and Catherine Tresa. Kaajal, who has already worked in Hindi movies like ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘3G’, feels that there is a vast difference between the Hindi film industry and southern film industry. Although she completely trusts her director Puri and says that in his guidance she will surely shine.
