Kaala in the USA: Nowhere Near What We Call Rajini Mania

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala has released today and has got mixed talk everywhere. The talk in Tamil is slightly better than the Telugu version but is nowhere near what we call Rajinikanth Mania. The openings across the globe are also disappointing.

The movie till the last reports has collected around $512K from its Thursday Premieres. But then, the performance is nowhere close to Kabali which has collected $1.95 Million Dollars (Premiers+day one) from the Premieres. The openings are even disappointing in both the Telugu States.

The film has got no buyers in Telugu and the makers have released the movie on their own. The Telugu Rights are valued at 33 Crore and it has to collect 33 Crore Share to be a hit which is like impossible with this talk. The opening in Tamil Nadu has also been disappointing.
