Kabali Advance Booking: Records On Stake

It was just a matter of time before the advance bookings of Telugu version of Kabali were opened. Finally it opened today and the response has been phenomenal as expected, especially in bigger A centers.

In Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada and such centers, the tickets for Day 1 in multiplexes have been sold out in advance. This is amazing considering publicity and buzz has been relatively low here compared to the Tamil version. With such advance bookings naturally records are at stake.

Superstar Rajinikanth is looking to give double jolt. First is create a new opening day record among dubbed films beating Shankar’s ‘I’ movie which clocked a little above 7 Cr. Second one comes by default as it would also mean the film getting biggest opening among senior stars of Telugu cinema beating Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Legend which is around 6.9 Cr.

With premiere records in sight and now these accomplishments in two Telugu states, Superstar Rajinikanth is setting new targets to senior heroes Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna for their landmark films that arrive next year.
