Return of the gritty Superstar after ages

For over a decade now, Superstar Rajinikanth has been dealing in fantastical projects where he is shown as a super power, a mythical ‘Superhero’ that is beyond the normal. This Superhero is then set up is a circus where the most farcical things are thrown around in the garb of entertainment. It is a testament to the Superstar that he had pulled almost all of them but even he couldn’t save the last such venture.

Well, looks like the star has decided to give the ‘super human’ quality a rest and bring out the once known gritty realism in him out again after ages. One of the posters literally depicts the star breaking the shackles and showing the gritty side. Mix this realism with the mythical status of Superstar in a gangster set up, you have a recipe that every movie lover can’t wait to taste as much as the fans.

The first look posters of Kabali, Superstar Rajinikanth’s next where he plays a gangster are out and they are sensational to say the least. It’s the best from the star in ages and they don’t have that over the top look attached to them either. Fans are hoping for a Baasha, which is probably too high a bar this point but imagine what if it’s reached?

For now let’s settle with the awesomeness of the posters that announces the shooting has begin.
