Heroine Kajal has been removed from another film, this time a Bollywood movie which was an adaptation of popular novel Devdas. She was to play Chandramukhi in it. The film as it is has been delayed by a long time due to casting issues but it looked all set with Kajal on board. However with Kajal’s Telugu commitment getting postponed and rescheduled she had no choice but opt out of the film.
Similar thing happened in the past when the actress had to opt out of a Tamil movie to accommodate the re-shoot of her Telugu movie. She had even taken the remuneration for the film and a case was filed by the Tamil makers asking her to return it as she did not participate in the shooting. The two Telugu films are Ram Charan’s Govindudu Andari Vadele and Jr NTR’s upcoming film with Puri Jagannadh. Right now she is busy with the latter which is planned to arrive for Sankranthi.
