The teaser of Kalki set up things correctly with a mystery behind the proceedings, and now, the trailer confirms the expectations and reveals the main plot. There is a murder, and the movie is related to its investigation by the lead officer played by Rajasekhar.
The trailer is intriguing enough to make one look forward to the movie. It is impressive and makes one want to catch the film soon. It isn’t as slick as the teaser, though, but then again that has fewer dialogues and a catchy background score in comparison.
Kalki is director Prasanth Varma’s second outing after Awe, and it is also actor Rajasekhar’s new outing after making a successful comeback with PSV Garudavega. The combination and the subject seem like a perfect marriage for moviegoers. Let’s see what they have in store when the movie hit the screens on June 28th. Meanwhile, check out the trailer below.
