Kalyan files petition to stall MAA elections!

Here comes latest twist in the scenario of already controversial MAA elections. Actor O Kalyan has filed a petition in Civil Court complaining the irregularities and discrepancies that have arisen in the MAA elections. The Court took up the petition on Thursday and ordered Murali Mohan, Ali and election officers to appear before court on Friday.

Coming into the details of the petition, O Kalyan accused that an illegal panel is formed even before the elections and has already announced the unanimously elected members for the executive committee while the announcement on elected members should come after the elections. He also accused that the elections are travelling against the association’s by-laws.

He further alleged that elections are held in favour of one panel and they are presently destroying the reputation of the industry with internal fights. After hearing to the allegations of Kalyan, Court summoned Murali Mohan, Ali and election officers to appear before court and this would decide the fate of elections to be held on 29th March.
