Akhil’s Heroine First Comment on Her Choice

Yesteryear actress Lissy’s daughter Kalyani was roped in for playing Akhil’s heroine in the Akkineni Scion’s second movie being helmed by director Vikram Kumar. She was Nagarjuna’s choice and he was the reason why Kalyani accepted to do the movie.

This star kid wanted to make her debut into films with a Malayalam movie since Malayalam happens to be her mother tongue. Kalyani’s father, director Priyadarshan who directed Nag’s ‘Nirnayam’ is very close to Nagarjuna. They share a special bond with each other.

The director has some special memories related to Nag as he thinks the actor’s friendship came at a crucial time in his career, pulling him out from the bad phase he was facing in his professional life. Nag’s family is very close to Priyadarshan’s family and that’s the reason Kalyani accepted Nag’s offer to make her debut with a Telugu movie.
