Kamal Has No Other Go But to Quit Cinema

These days, we are talking a lot about the Goods and Service Tax (GST). The 28% tax slab on Cinema has been one of the talking points in the film industry. The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is in no mood to budge and reduce the tax.

He even requested the film celebrities to pressurize the media to reduce the Goods and Service Tax on Cinema. But, Kamal Haasan is also in no mood to pressurize the Finance Minister but has a plea to forward for the well being of the Indian Film Industry.

This kind of slab would kill the regional cinema says the universal star and if this continues, he can’t afford to do movies and he would have no other way but to quit Cinema, altogether. These words implicitly say Kamal is batting for the well-being of the regional cinema.
