There was enough buzz on the film Kanam (Karu in Tamil) when the first look Kanam Trailer Talk: A Buzz Killerposters of the movie were released. Curiosity was generated, and with Sai Pallavi in the lead the expectations were high. The trailer, we have to say is a buzz killer.

Director AL Vijay after making a horror comedy is back again with a similar supernatural theme. But this time things are more serious. The trailer begins well but soon with such a short duration itself, gives a feeling that it has overstayed its welcome. The basic concept seems to be nice, the execution based on the trailer looks iffy. Sai Pallavi stands out in the trailer with Naga Shourya being pushed to just another character.

Check out the trailer below. A release date for Kanam is not yet known, but with a crowded schedule ahead in Telugu and Tamil, it might hit screens only next year. Let us wait for an official confirmation though.
