It’s Not a Publicity Stunt, Lot Depends on It

In the case of Dear Comrade, it’s not just an announcement ahead of its release to gain attention and publicity for the film that it is going to be remade in Hindi by none other than Baahubali presenter in Bollywood, Karan Johar.

Karan Johar indeed watched the original Telugu Dear Comrade and showered praises on the team and the performances of the lead pair through his Twitter handle. So, a lot depends on how the film fares at the box-office, this Friday. Nonetheless, Karan Johar’s praises aren’t a publicity stunt, they are clearly genuine.

Last night, at the pre-release event of Dear Comrade, Vijay Deverakonda was genuine enough to mention that Karan Johar indeed praised the performances of the guys who played Vijay’s friends in the movie.

One can easily see through what has been happening and the guys out there who worked for Dear Comrade have been making genuine efforts to take their movie into the audiences. The rest depends on the positive word of mouth that would emerge from the opening shows of the movie. Hope, their hard work pays off, genuinely.
