Actor karthi, younger brother of actor Suriya, has decided to blindly follow in his brother’s footsteps. With four back-to-back flops, Karthi seems to have not learned his mistake and has signed another commercial film, this time with director Linguswamy, who is currently directing Suriya in Anjaan. This new project, which will be Tamil-Telugu bilingual, has been titled Yenni Yezhu Naal.
Linguswamy and Karthi have previously worked in Awara, which was a hit in Tamil. Karthi will start shooting for this project as soon as he completes shooting for Anjaan, which is expected to release during Independence weekend. Karthi desperately needs a hit and we have to wait to find out if this project will resurrect his sagging career.
Meanwhile, Karthi is also expected to do a straight Telugu film soon. After Vishal, he is one Tamil actor who has dubbed in Telugu for all his films. He has also done advertisements in Telugu, and therefore, could sooner or later do a Telugu film.
