Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao is a firm believer of Vaastu. He recently visited the Assembly and met Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, Legislative Council Chairman Swami Goud and legislature staff to check the readiness to the budget session of Assembly early next month. He reportedly suggested some changes to the Assembly as well as the Speaker chamber.
There are currently 305 seats in the Assembly which formerly used to host 294 MLAs in the United State. Based on the Vaastu calculations, KCR asked the staff to bring down the seating to 160 since Telangana has only 119 MLAs. He also suggested some changes to steps in Speaker Chambers, they are used by Speaker to come to the main Assembly hall after the BAC meeting.
