Keerthy Suresh Reveals Her Marriage Journey With Antony Thattil

Keerthy Suresh kept her relationship with Antony Thattil away from the public eye for nearly 15 years. But their journey to marriage wasn’t entirely smooth. The actress has now revealed that convincing her family was not easy, especially with Antony belonging to a different religion.

Keerthy started dating Antony in January 2010, soon after completing her Class 12. Her mother, Menaka, eventually found out about the relationship by reading Keerthy’s college diary. Recalling the incident in a conversation with Curly Tales, the actress said her mother defended herself by saying she had every right to read her daughter’s diary. Keerthy Suresh was so embarrassed by the discovery that she stopped writing diaries altogether.

The bigger hurdle came when marriage entered the picture. Keerthy revealed that Antony being a Christian created some concerns at home, and she had to take time to convince her family. She also pointed out that Antony had known her long before she became an actress.

The couple finally got married on December 12, 2024, in Goa. After keeping their relationship private for so many years, Keerthy is now sharing some of the untold details of their journey.
