KGF 2 Breaks It Own Record?

Prashanth Neel’s KGF 2 is one of the biggies that is eagerly awaited by the movie buffs. The craze surrounding the sequel is huge that it has broken its own record. Wondering what? The film music has been sold to Lahari and T Series for a record price. Lahari has bought the KGF 2 music rights in all the South languages.

KGF music rights were sold for a whopping Rs 3.6 crore. Now, the KGF 2 music rights have been sold for double the price of the original is the buzz. This shows the hype surrounding ‘Rocky Bhai’s film.

The music has been scored by Ravi Basur and is said to have six songs. The film was supposed to hit screens on July 16 but the second wave played spoilsport. Of late, speculations are rife that the team may opt for a festive release- Dussera. However, an official word is awaited.

Neel has become a sought-after filmmaker post KGF success. He is at present working on Prabhas Salaar. He then has a commitment with Jr NTR. Then again he will work with Prabhas for a mythological film that is touted to be bigger than the Baahubali franchise.
