KGF Director Faces Unusual Controversy Before NTR’s Film

On the occasion of NTR’s birthday the other day, KGF fame Prashant Neel dropped a hit about directing Young Tiger NTR for his next project. Prashant is currently directing the second part of KGF and this project with NTR will mark his Telugu Debut. The official announcement of the project is yet to be out.

However, the Kannada industry did not welcome this announcement. “Learn from SS Rajamouli, the most-wanted director in India. Despite heavy demand, he sticks to Tollywood and never went to other Industries for the money’s sake. He earned a lot of laurels and respect for his mother industry doing Telugu films,” they say.

Karnataka presently is more about Telugu and other language films. There are some times where Telugu films deny theaters for the local movies in Karnataka. It is the first time the Kannada industry managed to grab the attention of the entire nation with KGF. It is obvious that they are distraught that the fame is going to be short-lived if Prashant Neel goes to Tollywood and make straight Telugu films.

However, Telugu fans say this is senseless and one should be proud that a fellow Kannadiga managed to have craze beyond the state borders. As of now, KGF 2 is being made as a straight Kannada film and will be dubbed into other languages. Prashant Neel will be under pressure with this unexpected reaction from the people of Kannada.
