Khakee -Falls Prey To The Trend

Khakee gave hopes of being the film to buck the trend, but looking the numbers coming in during the weekdays, it is confirmed that we have another movie falling prey to the last few weeks trend. The drops are significant.

After a very healthy weekend in which the Karthi starrer made significant progress, in some areas, the third day was higher, or on par with opening day, there has been a gradual decline. It has been the situation for past few weeks, where the films showed great pick up during the first three days. But then afterward, they had a dramatic fall.

The mixed word of mouth and multiple releases each week is majorly seen as the reason for the lack of consistency. We have to look at when a genuine hit film arrives at the box office. The coming week also doesn’t seem encouraging in that hit department.
