Krishnam Raju: Painful Battle To Eternal Peace

Legendary actor and former union minister Krishnam Raju breathed his last yesterday. Several Tollywood bigwigs and political personalities offered their final respects to the renowned actor.

Incidentally, Krishnam Raju had been suffering from severe medical complications for the past month or so. He was being treated at the AIG Hospital in Gachibowli and was kept in ventilator support for the past 27 days.

Raju had been suffering from post Covid complications, coronary heart disease, chronic heart rhythm, fungal infections and other medical conditions. He sadly passed away at 3:16 AM on the 11th of September.

Krishnam Raju’s mortal remains were kept for public viewing at his residence. Several noted personalities like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, NTR, Chandrababu Naidu, KTR and others visited Raju’s house.

Krishnam Raju is one of the most loved and respected personalities in Telugu cinema. The entire industry is mourning the demise of Raju who carried a “Peddaayana” image. He was known for his warm hospitality and dynamism.

The final rites will be performed today with state honours. The mortal remains will be cremated at Krishnam Raju’s recently acquired agricultural land in Moinabad. He bought this property to build a farmhouse and move there, but he has sadly passed away before the completion of the construction.

Raju had waged a painful battle against medical conditions for the past few weeks and he is now eternally peaceful. The void left by his absence in Telugu cinema will be hard to fill.
