Megastar Chiranjeevi receiving the Padma Vibhushan sparked widespread celebrations in the Telugu film industry. To commemorate this remarkable achievement, Upasana and Ram Charan, along with the Mega family, hosted a grand celebration.
The highlight of the event was the presence of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, who came to congratulate Chiranjeevi personally. Notable political figures such as Kavitha Kalvakuntla and Kishan Reddy also attended.
However, the absence of the BRS president and former minister KTR was noticeable.
KTR, known to be one of Ram Charan’s friends in the political arena, had previously been a chief guest at several of Ram Charan’s pre-release events, such as Dhruva and Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
Speculations suggest that following BRS’s recent electoral defeat in assembly elections, the Mega family might be aligning more closely with the current chief minister, Revanth Reddy. It’s a common practice for the film industry to maintain good relations with the ruling party. People always salute the rising sun. Whether KTR chose to stay away or was sidelined remains unclear.
