At the Kuberaa success event last night, where Chiranjeevi attended as the chief guest, Nagarjuna addressed the controversy and attempted to clarify his earlier comments.
He stated that websites and social media had misunderstood him, explaining that when he said the story revolves around Deepak’s character, it was misinterpreted.
He added that Kuberaa is not just about one character—it’s Deepak’s film, it’s Deva’s film, and he went on to mention several other characters to emphasize the ensemble nature of the story.
While it’s good that Nagarjuna offered a clarification, it’s also important to acknowledge that he was the one who started all this. There’s a clear video of his statement, so blaming websites or social media is unreasonable—when stars like him make such remarks, they naturally grab media attention.
Still, it’s commendable that a senior actor like Nagarjuna is aware of what’s being reported in web media and discussed on social media.
