Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa is out and it’s generating strong word-of-mouth. A section of the audience is thoroughly enjoying the film for its fresh storyline and emotional depth. However, not everyone is on board — some viewers have expressed dissatisfaction with the length and climax.

When asked a question, he responded by firmly stating that his character, Deepak, is the central role (main character/main lead) in the film and that everything revolves around it. He went on to say that while others may have more screen time, his is the main character.

Audiences who watched Kuberaa have appreciated both Nagarjuna and Dhanush.
But it’s Dhanush who has clearly made a far bigger impact — his performance has been the driving force behind much of the film’s positive chatter, across both Telugu and Tamil viewers.
While Nagarjuna did a good job, his role wasn’t particularly groundbreaking. It was a dignified performance, and the fact that a senior star like him accepted such a part should be seen as a positive shift.
However, publicly asserting himself as the main lead feels unnecessary — especially for someone of his stature and experience.
Nagarjuna is not a newcomer. He has a legacy filled with iconic films, and there’s no reason for him to appear insecure.
In fact, if he had openly praised Dhanush’s performance, he would have earned even more respect. Instead, his comments have only drawn unwanted attention and cast him in a less flattering light.
