The ongoing year has turned out to be extremely unlucky for the popular production house. It started with Dhruva Sarja’s KD The Devil, which could not bring good results at the box office, despite being involved in a controversy related to Nora Fatehi’s item song before release.

Then there was Jana Nayagan, which witnessed a delay of multiple months. It marked the final screen appearance of Tamil Nadu CM, C. Joseph Vijay. Despite a lot of hype, the movie’s collections were heavily impacted due to a long delay and the original print being leaked before release.

A few weeks ago, Toxic tanked badly at the box office due to its confusing story and screenplay. Although it took an opening of Rs. 100 crores, it failed to repeat the success of Yash’s previous film, K.G.F. Chapter 2. The content was heavily trolled by the Hindi audience in public reviews and on social media.

The production house has still not given up, as Haiwaan has arrived in theatres on September 11, 2026. But trade experts have said that it is going to have the same fate as KVN’s previous films, as the advance booking numbers have been underwhelming and the content is also not up to the mark.

Netizens reacted on social media by saying that the production house possibly needs better leadership from someone else right now. They even noted the fact that KVN has always preferred big announcements and has hardly focused on the content that they are bringing to the audience.

A particular section stated that, considering the ongoing situation, KVN should focus on making content-driven films on a low budget with big stars. They said that this is the only thing that will slowly help them to reach the top level once again.
