Lakshmi’s glamorous avatar in Chandamama Kathalu

Lakshmi Manchu is known as a popular producer, but the actress in her has brought to the fore with her roles as an evil sorceress and a village belle in several films. Now, for the first time in her career, Lakshmi is trying something she hasn’t attempted so far in her career. She will be seen essaying the glamorous role of a super model in Praveen Sattaru’s Chandamama Kathalu.

Director Praveen said that since Lakshmi hasn’t tried to be glamorous on screen so far, he thought she would be perfect for the role in the film, which also features her pet dog named Anand Manchu. Sattaru said that the audience will get to see the side of the actress never seen before.

Lakshmi, who had always wanted to essay romantic roles with focus on panache, is upbeat about the role. She said this is the kind of role every actress would love to play on the big screen.
