The latest hit films in Tollywood like ‘Race Gurram’ and ‘Manam’ have brought directors Surender Reddy and Vikram Kumar into the elite list of directors. Surender Reddy, who just gave his career’s biggest hit for Allu Arjun, the top 4 grosser of Telugu cinema, is the most wanted director in Tollywood these days. However, his commitments to so many projects keep the makers away from him. The director already has two back to back films lined up, including one with newcomers and another with Ravi Teja for ‘Kick-2’.

Vikram Kumar, who just delivered a magical film ‘Manam’ is the most sought after director in tinsel town. The director who has delivered two back to back hits namely Ishq and Manam is yet to sign the dotted line for his next project. Following the overwhelming success of Manam, it is being said that Chiranjeevi wants Vikram to write a film for one of the Mega family heroes. Vikram is therefore flooded with calls from several producers and actors but we will have to wait to find out who he will finally agree to work with. In his decade-long career, Vikram has only worked on five choice films, and thus is unlikely to fall for lucrative offers.
