Legendary union in Telugu after decade and half

After more than decade and half, legendary director Mani Ratnam is going to collaborate with legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Shasthry for his upcoming film Okay Bangaram. The last time they worked together was for the Telugu dubbed version of Hindi film Dil Se.

For many of his films director Mani Ratnam has late Veturi as his lyricist. The two have worked on some classic albums but that hasn’t been the case with Seetharama Shasthry. So finally after all these years one witness the magic of the lyricist in a Southern film and what’s more happy news here is that it is a love story that they would be working together for.

Okay Bangaram in Telugu dubbed version of Tamil title Okay Kanmani. Shooting of the film is completed and the makers are looking at releasing the film on the same date as director’s last big successful romance Sakhi. Will history repeat in terms of success of both audio as well as movie?
