Liger US Premieres: Pretty Good Numbers

Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s Liger hit the big screens today. The film had good pre-release hype and that has accounted for some pretty good numbers from the USA premieres.

Liger had collected an impressive $475K from its premieres on Wednesday. This is a good number in the past pandemic era.

The advance sales opened on an encouraging note and the final USA premieres tally have ended at $475K now. It remains to be seen how the film can hold over the weekend.

The advance bookings in the Telugu states were impressive as well so we can expect good opening numbers here as well. But we should wait and see it fares over the next 3 days.

The film was sold for substantially high prices and a good weekend is essential if it is to recover the big investments both domestic and overseas.
