Puri takes the safe route!

Loafer starring Varun Tej was one of the films which threatened to arrive for Sankranthi. And as we all know the festive season is already crowded which makes the makers are going to take a huge risk.

But going by the latest reports it turns out that the actor and director have taken a safe route for the release of the film. It is being reported that the Loafer would arrive on December 18 instead of expected Sankranthi release. It is a safe route for the makers as there would be no competition primarily and it would be give enough opportunity to grow in case the word of mouth emerge positive.

Loafer is crucial to the future of Varun Tej as it would be his first commercial attempt. Although not yet an out and out commercial one, a film with Puri Jagannadh would bring out Varun’s best outcome as a commercial hero at this point, in terms of opening. A good opening here would seal his fate as a safe bet for future films. Keeping all this in mind December 18 looks like a good date compared to Sankranthi. Let’s see how things pan out eventually.
