Lord Shiva recurring in superstar’s movies

Like Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy recurring in the films of Balakrishna’s films, it’s an interesting observation that Lord Shiva or else the concept of Shaivism in superstar Rajnikanth movies. Even his last two movies’Lingaa’ and ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ too have references to Lord Shiva.

Sometimes it’s the titles like ‘Lingaa’, Arunachalam’ etc which refer to Lord Shiva and sometimes Rajnikanth flaunting the three lines of vibhuti (tripundra) on his forehead or else dancing to Rudra’s celestial dance ‘Tandavam’, Lord Shiva keeps recurring in the superstar’s movies.

Coming to his next movie to go for shooting soon, the makers had decided upon ‘Kabali’ which is a direct reference to Lord Shiva. In whatever way it comes, Rajni is comfortable with the Rudra’s concept. Interestingly, ‘Kabali’ seems almost similar to Pawan Kalyan’s yet to happen ‘Kobali’ with Trivikram.
