Lacklustre Weekend At The Box Office

It is going to be a disappointing weekend at the box office. All the new releases have failed to excite the crowd and bring them to the theatres.

There were two new releases, both dubbed, in cinemas this weekend. Lover’s Day was a Malayalam dub featuring the ‘wink’ girl Priya Prakash Warrior, and the second one was Dev starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh. Both had a mid-week release to make the best of Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, with poor talk, none have managed to get going.

All eyes are on the next week’s release, NTR – Mahanayakudu as it stars big names. However, the disastrous performance of the first part is making the trade wary of the second installment. Let us see if it can spring a surprise.
