Panchayat S5: Why Makers Facing Massive Pressure?

Panchayat Season 5 Latest Update

Panchayat Season 5 is on the way. Although a confirmed release date remains unknown, multiple sources have claimed that it is arriving sometime this year on Amazon Prime Video.

While the excitement for the new season remains, Faisal Malik, who has appeared as Prahlad Pandey on the show, said that the fifth installment will bring a new experience for the audience, where a lot of things will change in the lives of the characters.

Faisal also promised that the show will bring back the comedy and drama elements that have been the main highlights and have continued to bring more viewership since 2020.

Although Faisal did not reveal the changes that his character will undergo this time, he said that the graphs for the rest of the cast members are going to move in a substantial manner. The actor promised a “fun rollercoaster ride” for the audience in the fifth season.

Panchayat has been loved by the audience since its first season due to its simplicity and the realistic portrayal of Indian villages. While Seasons 1 and 2 received a highly positive response, Seasons 3 and 4 had a mixed reception, with fans and critics claiming that the makers failed to create any memorable moments compared to the first two.

Despite the mixed response to the last two seasons, the excitement for Season 5 remains. This is because the end of Season 4 witnessed Bhushan and his team winning the elections, which means that Abhishek, alongside Manju Devi and her family, is expected to face a tough time in Phulera.

The makers are possibly well aware of the response to Seasons 3 and 4, which means that they have faced the pressure of making Season 5 better. Let’s wait and see if the upcoming season will turn out to be a memorable one after a long time.
