Trailer Talk: Promises A Fun Mass Outing

Not many were hopeful with a sequel for Maari when it was announced given the original itself has a weak run theatrically. However, the music and the lead character had made sure Maari was in audience’s mind despite the box office.

Today, the theatrical trailer for Maari 2 is released, and one can’t help but feel that the decision to go with a sequel may have been right. For starters, the casting seems to be spot on and an improvement on the first part. There seems to be more to the story, and the overall fun vibe is reassuring. The pair of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi look perfect with mass chemistry. The only element that is failing to match the original is the music.
