Mahanati is going to release on Wednesday (May 9th ), that is just two days away. And yet there is no real buzz on the movie. Also, except for the few movie lovers, other general audiences aren’t even aware of its release date. There is no theatrical trailer to make things difficult.

The Savitri biopic and casting had the people excited, but the miscalculated promotion has made it difficult for the movie’s survival at the box office. A good film can always shine, but the bigger initial is undoubtedly lost. With the multi-release weeks ahead, the openings would have significantly helped the film’s cause at the ticket counter.
