The first visual glimpse of the biopic of legendary actress Savitri is out. It is impressive to say the last and the colourful and varied cast adds to the excitement.

The biopic on Savitri titled Mahanati has been generating curiosity ever since it was announced. The teaser further adds to it by maintaining a curiosity over the content. What they are going to show and how the narrative will unfold is the primary interest. The eclectic cast raises the anticipation. One only hopes that it isn’t just another generic biopic following a template.

Check out the teaser below. Keerthi Suresh essays the title role of Mahanati. Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda play the narrators. Malayalam star Dulquer Salman will be seen as Gemini Ganesan. Mahanati directed by Nag Ashwin will hit the big screens in Telugu and Tamil on May 9th.
