Mahesh Babu’s Disaster Being Repaired

A joint family celebrating a function on regular basis seemed totally pointless to the Telugu audiences and therefore, Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam‘ turned out to be one of the biggest disasters in Mahesh Babu‘s career. Now, the same movie is being dubbed into Tamil.

The Tamil dubbing version has several changes. The foremost one is the title. It’s titled ‘Anirudh’ for Tamil version. The second change is regarding trimming the movie. Some scenes that wouldn’t connect with the Tamil audiences were cut down and hence the movie is trimmed by 29 minutes.

Another major change is the dialogues. To make the pointless celebrations believable, writer ARK Rajaraja is in the process of repairing the movie to suit the sensibilities of the Tamil audiences. Initially, ‘Brahmotsavam’ was planned as a bilingual. Later, the makers opted to go for only the Telugu version’s release.
