Pawan Kalyan Is The Only Exception!

The topic of collections is always debatable regarding its genuineness in Telugu cinema. It has been so from ages. However, from time to time, there comes a film which takes the unaccountability to a step higher. Such a thing happened a few years ago, and since then, the collection reporting has not been the same again.

The mess involving the collections is increasing with each new film of a top star. It is the same case with almost all the stars barring the exception of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas (by default because he hasn’t done any film besides Baahubali 1 and 2).

The thing to note here is that even Pawan Kalyan is not well and truly an exception, but he is the one star with least debate regarding collections. He has a Katamarayudu. But, the difference is unlike others, even fans acknowledge it and move on. None of his films before, or after have had multiple numbers to agree or disagree. Usually, what the trade throws up, the fans take it.

Pawan Kalyan is also the one star who lacks the ‘PR” driven synergy. While it existed for a long time, it has become a potent combination in the recent past. The numbers are delivered, and everyone else follows. Sometimes, as it has happened with Maharshi, when there is a miscommunication, all hell breaks loose. Take a look at the comments below.
