Mahesh Babu Named in Real Estate Fraud Complaint

Mahesh Babu has landed in legal trouble after the Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission issued notices to him in connection with a real estate fraud case.

The complaint, filed by two buyers, alleges that they paid ₹34.8 lakh for plots in a layout promoted by Sai Surya Developers in Balapur village — only to later discover that no such layout existed.

Mahesh Babu, who served as the brand ambassador for the real estate firm, has been named the third respondent in the case, along with the company and its owner Kancherla Satish Chandra Gupta.

The commission has asked all respondents to appear before it, with the next hearing scheduled for Monday.

Adding to his legal woes, Mahesh Babu had earlier received summons from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a separate real estate money laundering investigation. However, he is yet to appear before the agency for questioning.

Despite the ongoing controversies, Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his highly anticipated film with director S.S. Rajamouli, which is being billed as a globe-trotting action adventure.

As of now, Mahesh Babu has not made any public statement regarding the legal notices or the ED summons.
