Mahesh Babu‘s first Tamil straight film is coming soon and the superstar has got something interesting to tell us. Though this movie is his debut movie, he has lost an opportunity to make his Tamil debut, long ago.

Renowned director Mani Ratnam wanted to make a period drama with Tamil mass hero Vijay and superstar Mahesh Babu. Somehow, the project got shelved and Mahesh missed a chance to share screen space with Vijay. We know, Mahesh is quite good at speaking Tamil and he an easily impress the Tamilains.

To make his Tamil debut with AR Murugadoss’ movie is an added benefit for Mahesh as the director is popular for making intelligent action movies with a different flavour. Most of his movies went as remakes in other languages proving that he chooses subjects which cater to the tastes of wider audiences.
