Mahesh Babu Problem for YSR Congress?

TDP Government has come under criticism all of sudden for no reason due to the Nandi Awards. Even though it is the work of the jury, the government has felt the heat due to Balayya being in Nandi National Awards Jury.

Minister Lokesh increased the heat further with his Non-Resident Andhras comment. But then, Main Opposition Party, except for some minor comments. YSR Congress could not capitalize the issue just because of Superstar Mahesh Babu and his family.

“Mahesh Babu himself won an award for his Srimanthudu. Criticizing the awards and demanding to cancel them will mean hurting Superstar Krishna, Mahesh Babu, and Adiseshagiri Rao. So we could not do that,” a Senior Leader said. Even though Mahesh supported his brother-in-law as TDP candidate in 2014, Krishna and Adiseshagiri Rao are close to YSR. Adiseshagiri Rao is active in the party affairs.
