Mahesh Babu Ruined SVP Output

One of the major complaints about Sarkaru Vaari Paata is the weak background score for the much-hyped beach fight episode in the film. As stated by Thaman, there is a reason why the final output for the sequence wasn’t quite on the expected level.

“The actual beach fight episode had an additional layer. There is a parallel track where the villain performs a pooja at a different location. This track and the fight episode were interlined. We orchestrated a heavy BGM for this block. It sounded very well as it progresses with mantras theme. But the parallel track was edited out in the final copy and I had to recompose the background score” Thaman said.

A section of Mahesh‘s fans are now fuming at their hero. “The beach fight had so much potential. You (Mahesh) ruined the final output by letting them edit out the portion. You should’ve seen to it that the entire action block with the original background score made it to the final cut if it was so very good” they say.

Thaman added that it was Mahesh’s idea to go for Krishna Chaitanya’s vocals for the Ma Ma Mahesha song while he personally felt Daler Mehendi would be the right for it. A few Mahesh’s fans commented about the same, saying “Thaman is cleverly pushing the blame on Mahesh Babu, implying that the song would’ve been even better had Daler Mehendi crooned it.”
