Mahesh Babu Takes A Very Apt Decision

In a recent interview, while promoting Love Story, director Sekhar Kammula said that he narrated the script of Fidaa to Superstar Mahesh Babu first, and then narrated it to Ram Charan after he rejected it.

After even Ram Charan rejected the script, the role then went to Varun Tej. As is known, Fidaa went on to become one of the biggest hits of that year and turned out to be an impressive part of Varun Tej’s career.

Ultimately, Mahesh seems to have taken the right decision, as Fidaa wouldn’t have gone with his image. Sai Pallavi completely stole the show in Fidaa and made it her own film, which Mahesh’s fans would not have liked at all. In the end, things worked out well for everyone involved, which is more important.
