While ‘1:Nenokkadine’ may have garnered mixed reviews from audience and critics alike, its hero Mahesh Babu is happy with the response his film has received. Delighted with the response Mahesh has expressed his interest to work with Sukumar again. He asked him when can they team up for another film.
Sukumar said that Mahesh had left him a message asking when will he direct him again. All this after the film failed to register a record opening and managed to mint only a mere INR 8.4 crore on release day in Andhra Pradesh. The opening week collection also has not been in favour of the film or its makers, but Mahesh is happy with the fact that he got to do a really different film.
The film after first day was shortened by about 20 minutes because of its length. It was one of the biggest drawbacks of the film, while its genre itself didn’t appeal to the audience.
