Mahesh or Ravi Teja for Rudhramadevi?

Rudhramadevi is perhaps the only Telugu film with the most number of lead actors essaying different roles. It already features Anushka, Rana, Krishnam Raju, Nathalia Kaur, Aditi Chengappa, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj among many more. The latest buzz is that Mahesh Babu or Ravi Teja are likely to join the cast to essay the role of Gona Ganna Reddy.

There were rumours that Mahesh Babu was roped in for the film on the personal request of Gunasekhar, and the former couldn’t say no because one of the biggest hits Okkadu was delivered by the latter. However, the news wasn’t confirmed by anybody from the film’s unit and everything was based on hearsay.

Now, reports are surfacing that Ravi Teja, former room mate of Gunasekhar, who directed him in Nippu recently, has been roped in for the role. Apparently, Gunasekhar had personally requested Ravi to play this cameo and he instantly agreed but again there is nobody to confirm the news.
