Makeups Problems in Shooting Spots Post-Lockdown?

The film shootings across the country are likely to resume in June provided that the cases do not increase abnormally in the coming days. The industry is already discussing the norms that should be followed during the shootings in the initial days.

Sources say that Producers are contemplating to avoid makeup and styling artists in the shooting locations. “Actors and actresses will be doing their makeup and styling at home before reporting on set. Only one helper will be allowed along with them,” a source told us.

When asked if the harsh summer will not have an impact on the makeup. “They will be arriving in AC cars or caravans and the shootings will happen only in the studios. So, there should not be a problem. We are expecting their co-operation as these are testing times. There will be a touchup artist who will attend to all artists if necessary.,” the source said.

This move, if implemented properly, would save a lot of time in the shoot and will also benefit the producer. In the initial days, the Governments may deploy the Police Personnel on the sets to see if the rules are being followed. If rules are violated, the shooting permissions may be canceled on case to case basis, sources say.
