Malayalam actor Dileep Sankar is no more. He was famous for his roles in Ammayariyathe and Panchagni. He was found dead in his Thiruvananthapuram hotel room on Dec 29, 2024. Fans and colleagues are still searching for answers.
Dileep checked in to the hotel 4 days before his death for a TV serial shoot. Hotel staff found his body after they noticed a bad smell from his room. Police have confirmed no signs of murder but the cause of death will be known only after postmortem.
Dileep’s colleagues tried to reach him but couldn’t so they went to the hotel and found him dead. His last social media post promoting the film Pravinkoodu Shappu was 6 days before his death. Actress Seema G Nair paid homage and recalled their last meeting.
Though the cause of Dileep’s death is not clear, there are health issues reported. No foul play means personal struggles might have contributed. His last moments suggest an actor who was still working despite personal problems.
